Bear in mind when both of these machines showed up the retail price was so glaringly out of proportion to what you held in your hands that they were EASY targets for an analysis that would lead to the conclusion desired. They did one on the Xbox 360 too... I guess for comparison and it was also subsidized - just not nearly so heavily.
