Explain if and why Apple TV is better than satillite
Hi: I guess I'm just out of it, but if you have satillite with loads of HD movies, what is the point of Apple TV? Is it just, "I want what I want when I want it!"? If you want to get the Newest, why not Pay-Per-View? It's there and the quality is good, sound also. I'm clearly missing something or you've flipped out.
Another one: What's Ara's Mac Mini setup? It sounds like it might do for an HTPC or is that still a Dollar Short? I' built a Wintel HTPC, which is OK for CDs and pictures, but I seldom use it except for Show Time, i.e., the Old Slide Show gig and occasional-Xmas, for example, music fill at gatherings. Is there a Killer Ap I'm missing? The satillite box does the TIVO function, so the HTPC is not really that useful I've found. PCs are solitary pleasures, but maybe a Wii would change all that. Mmmmmmmmmmm
Slightly mystified, I am Budd Adams
