so it is NOT a way to get a digital high resolution image via HDMI but simply downgrade
the image to 480 lines....Right?

I don't understand what you don't understand...
The Fury provides an HDCP HDMI input, converts it to RGBHV and that gets connected to your VGA input. Whatever your display accepts via analog video it will accept via HDMI. So if your display accepts 1080i as an example then you will get the same via HDMI.

HDFury question
I'm confused; will the HDFury allow me to patch in a DVD or HDTV and display it at 1080i on my Mitusibishi WS-65908?
If not, what is out that I can use? (I'll be happy to go to another forum for this, if you could please direct me)
