Yippee!! Another fine piece of sh*t that repair shops can't fix due to lack of tech support or replacement parts availability.

Cheap electronics
I think this was a general comment.
You are asking for examples.
VISIO
It is highly lauded in online forums that their products are an incredible deal. (And it is pretty much a deal)
No mention of the fact that they have NO DEALER network and NO SERVICE network.
I know that COSCO USED to be crazy enough to give people their money back, even years later.
They have figured out that they (COSCO) were being taken advantage off and stopped this practice. (You think)
The point is that his higher level of service costs money and is reflected in the higher prices of leading brands.
If it is OK with you that you are out of luck when the cheap products breaks, then go for it.
Most people I have met, want it both ways. (low price; great service)

While this comment may be valid in that you may not be able to get it repaired by the manufacturer (never heard of these folks) it needs to be made clear that NO DISC PLAYERS are repaired in the field anymore and must be sent to the manufacturer or their authorized repair depot whether in or out of warranty which typically means 1-2 places for the whole country.msmith1960 wrote:Yippee!!
