CTV broadcast the Concert for Diana in HDTV live for 6 1/2 hours on July 1st.
They then ran a 2 hour highlight package that evening in HDTV.
The PQ was excellent with only a few minor dropouts (mainly on Star Choice). The only downside was that they did not broadcast the concert in DD5.1 ... only prologic.
The broadcast was available in Canada on Star Choice, Bell ExpressVu, Shaw Cable (in the west) and Rogers Cable (in the east).

Any idea who produced it, and if they'll be making it available on high def disc? BBC maybe?
I'll do some digging.

Parts of the concert is available on CTV's VIDEO ON DEMAND. Naturally the quality is not the greatest!

I cannot find any mention on their site of DVD's being available, but I am sure that they will be at a later date with proceeds going to Diana's charities.

I don't know about HD versions but the Concert For Diana Website says that there will be a DVD for the entire concert later this year.
