Picked it up on Saturday at Best Buy for $592.00, installed on Sunday. My local Best Buy did not know they had it. It was not on display. Had to specifically ask for it (remember the A at the end) and they found it in stock. The Magnolia folks were surprised at the price and the DVDs included in the box.
Hooked it up to my Sony 60 inch XBR800 using an HDMI to DVI cable (Best Buy was out of the cable so got it at Circuit City.
Picture and sound are awesome.
Not sure when Best Buy will know they have these. Still does not show on their WebSite.

I wasn't as concerned about updates. I was asking whether or not it was included for interactivity purposes.hlatham wrote:No it does not.
Firmware updates are done via downloading to your PC and burning a CD. There is an update out there now, but since everything is working I have not installed it. Not broke, don't fix.
Thanks.

Quantum of Solace Broke It
Been working merrily away with at least the new releases I was getting. Received Quantum of Solace this week from Amazon and though the trailers all showed fine the main movie was on permanent "READ". I thought I had a bad DVD and was getting ready to send back, however, my son noticed that in the DVD box there was a white slip of paper that stated "your Blu Ray may need to get updated to play this disk". So off to the web I went. Discoverd my firm ware level was 2.0 and the most currten version was 2.5. After some hassle in getting the download to work and a good CD burned (the player does not have an Ethernet port), I was succesful in updating. And the video played great.
However the movie was coming through only 2 channel. Discovered my receiver was not DTS-HD capable so had to change that setting on the DVD player to bitstream.
Then the opening chase scene shook the house.
Thought I would post this in case anyone had this old school great player and was thinking some DVDs were not working.
