Plot ... a heart stopping mythic action-adventure set against the turbulent end times of the once great Mayan civilization. Comments ... this is an epic story done on a grand scale. This movie had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end! The chase scenes are better than an car chase on film ... they are gripping, intense, heart pounding! The camera work is amazing. But be warned this is a story about the Mayan people so it is brutally violent! Another fabulous achievement from Mel Gibson! Very highly recommended ... a must see!

And by the way, the DTS 5.1 sound is terrific ... the surround sound in the opening scene puts you right in the middle of the jungle.
