I'm new to this forum, so I don't know the protocol...you are announcing movies, but not critiquing them at all - other than noting the movie subject - which while a nice introduction, there are other more complete sources.
As you are recommending them, I wonder if you have you actually watched the HD versions - and is there something that can be said about that particular implementation?

Understanding the purpose

Thanks for the detailed response. So that makes sense - not repeating info that's out there already. And not ruining the stories!!
It is hard to keep up. I watched my local laserdisc store Laser Blazer in west LA go from it's first DVD to no laserdiscs at all anymore. Now it seems like a morphing vision with the growth. I guess I hope HD video has that success - unlike HD audio which has become near impossible to find in normal retail stores. I'll have to watch that forum also.
