Cable lobbying arms apply more political pressure on coming set-top ban
The National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) and the American Cable Association (ACA) are both keeping the heat on in their attempts to get the FCC to consider a temporary waiver of the forthcoming July 1, 2007 ban on digital set-tops with embedded security.
