IndyCar Series is an older game easily found on ebay for less than $10 and was also released for the Xbox. This is the original release without the side mirrors and while you may be missing those you still have your spotter telling you what is going on so they are not absolutely necessary.

What is different

The game supports multiple pixel depths and 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. For 16:9 720P is your only option.

There is little support for the graphics within the game so use your video card software to acquire the best artifact free response.

There is no support for online gaming. That will require the Xbox and the later release of IndyCar Series 2005.

This game was tested using the PS2 Logitech Driving Force Pro Wheel

Results

Setup was a breeze with the wheel as the game offers a controller programming window and fully supported the force feedback functions of the wheel.

Video is awesome and brings far more realism to the experience with it
