A young woman trying to find herself finds far more than expected when she finds out that the author of The Graduate was inspired by her families true story. This is a light hearted comedy with tons of heart that will have you laughing and teary eyed. Stars Kevin Costner, Shirley McLain and Jennifer Anniston all turning in wonderful performances with what obviously was a well written script!

HiDefBob did a great write up on this movie and it is unfortunate we lost that.

While this was not one of those movies I yearn to watch in HD it was part of the new HD DVD releases so naturally I prefered to see the HD DVD version. It was a pleasure to see the world as it is from the young and fair skinned to the old and wrinkly. That bit of additional reality really made this movie a pleasure and brought me closer to the story.... regardless of what Hollywood and Phil Swan thinks... HA!
