The 2:40 freeze on D*

Post by Dave3putt »

I have D* and the HR10-250. I'm sitting here watching Shrek 2 on HBOHD and every 2 min. and 40 sec.( I timed it for 15 min.) the video will freeze and stutter for about a second and the audio will drop out for about 2 seconds. Very consistent. Very maddening. Seems like HBO has the biggest problem with this, as I cannot say for sure what other channel this keeps happening on. I once thought it was caused by my hard drive getting full, but it seems too consistent for that. Is this just another part of living with "HD Lite"? :x

That type of thing is what they want to avoid... HD Lite is based on the most common demoninator, however much compression the consuming public can stomach.

I don't use that unit but possibly cycling the power via the AC cord, unplug and plug it back in, might reset something that needs to be reset.
