Rodney is a young robot with his sights sent on becoming an inventor under the direction of Bigweld. Upon his arrival he finds out that things are not quite the way he thought and that his world and the world of his family and friends is about to change.

The animation and sound excel yet unfortunately the script did not. It seemed as if this predictable story was intended for a Sesame Street audience lacking the adult humor and insight that has made cartoons into classics for decades.

If you have kids they will likely enjoy it. For this adult and the rest in this home it was a disappointment.
