HD Library Waveform Review
The most demanding project has always been the Review column. I really wanted to provide reviews with full and complete documentation to the public that concentrate on imaging science. It appears at this time that is not going to be possible as HD Library is not producing enough revenue to cover the time required to publish the reviews to that level. I have not given up though on reporting what products are working correctly and which ones do not since that is part and parcel of what I do. If you recall the intent was to document the rough edges and that work will continue under the Reviews In Progress section. These will be my notes on what these products are and are not doing correctly answering the most relevant questions users have about performance. Naturally all ISF members are invited to comment and also post their own experiences with properly performing equipment that you should know about. HD Library members are also invited to participate provided they have received an ISF calibration and are familiar with properly setting the controls on their display, how to check the color decoder and have a calibration DVD on hand to perform the tests. For the most part HD Library members are going to be limited to DVD players since most do not have the equipment to evaluate other products.
