Help for buy a HDTV and send it to another country

Well,i m new,i don t know almost nothing about HDTV and my english sucks,sorry.
Well i was thinking buy a hdtv and use it for a few months and then send it to my country (Argentina) because we don t have there HDTV yet or those are too expenseive.
The problem is on Argentina we use PAL-N and when i was reading some specification about the HDTV i didn t find nothing about multi-norm.
i know here,on USA,we use NTSC so i don t want to buy an expensive TV,pay 250 for send it and then.....i can t use it.
I was reeading too a few hdtv brings a NTSC tunner inside and i was thinking if this clould be a problem because if that tunner is NTSC may not let me watch regular televison.
I want the tv for watch just regular TV because we don t have hdtv on Argentina yet but i gonn use it for the new video game like b-box 360 or playstation 3 in a future.
And also i would like to know how match i have to expend for be able to watch HDTV (wires,satelite receiver,converter and i don t know if i need something else,please tell me).My satelite company is D**h.

You will have two problems trying to do this.

Our TV's are NTSC and will not work with PAL

Our TV's run at 120V 60Hz power and Argentina uses 220Volts at 50Hz

Do not waste your time. Buy the TV in Argentina.

I think all of these problems can be resolved starting at $1000 on up.

As Raff points out it may not be cost effective though...

If you wish to pursue it I will try and get a colleague to provide a more defined answer and cost.

Yeah,i knew about the power and i can fixit easy with a simple transformator,we use a lot of those in argentina.Remember almost everything is from USA there and we used transformator for walkman and more.
So the HDTV here are not multi-norm and will not work on PAL even for watch regular channels?.

No. All of the general consumer TV's in the US are NTSC / ATSC only.

Thanks,man,i really need that.
Because,we are talking,first,around 310$ for send it only if i can put a 30" tv in a around 39 1/2 inches box (if not is going to be twice the price) plus the tv cost,plus a hd-dvd player plus wires.
i don t know,is going to be too much money for nothing if the tv doesn t work.

If you are using an external STB for cable/satellite or terrestrial SD/HD reception then you don;t need to worry about what tuner is in the TV. All you need to worry about is whether it will accept the resolution and refresh rates you want to send it. If it doesn't then it's extremely likely that you would still be able to stick something like a Lumagen DVI scaler $999 between the sources and the DVI/HDMI/COMPONENT input of the display and have it convert everything to a signal and refresh rate that the display likes. The frame rate conversion in that product is great so you are not likely to suffer any ill consequences.
