"Great American West" is part of the HD to the MAX series. I found this to be the most stunning HDTV that I have seen on television to date! Some of the shots were absolutely breathtaking!
Broadcast on CBS Boston 9:05pm PDT May 7th/12:05 EDT May 8th.

If this or any other in this series is ever made available on D-VHS (or HD DVD or Blu-Ray or whatever compromise HD system) I would definitely be interested in purchasing.
