If you are using one of these receivers and have it set for a 1080I scan rate output it is highly likely that eventually you will notice a subtle horizontal line artifact during vertical pans only. Using any other scan rate appears to resolve the problem. If your display is a native 1080I scan rate then switching to 720P is not the best solution. The only solution appears to be not using this receiver and replacing it with another brand or possibly another RCA model.
There are comments that when using an RCA display with this receiver there is no problem.
