We all know the movie and the plot. A cyborg returns to the past to terminate one Sarah Conner, the mother of the future victorious leader of the humans against the machines decades later. I figured I would catch about 15 minutes just to check the transfer and ended up watching the whole movie.

I saw it too. Stayed up way too late. Thing is, for some strange reason my 7yr old daughter loves Terminator2 so I bought it and have been forced to watch it about 50 times, including the night before so the contrast btw the two movies was stark.
Watching the original was very refreshing! I forgot a lot of the stuff in it. It also seems darker in nature and grainier in picture, definately a low budget deal, which in this case worked well for the movie. Sort of like the original Dawn Of the Dead on steriods, so to speak.
