This may be a little late, but I had a lot of trouble posting the last few weeks. Be sure the Sammy 941 has everything you need. I had the first upscalable Sammy 931, which had a great picture but was very balky with DVD's and had a really crappy non-responsive remote. I sold that and bought the next one, the 841 which had a much improved remote. I also discovered much to my dismay that the machine when paused, did NOT hold the setting for more then about 20 minutes! You had to start a movie from the begining. It also reverted back to the 480p setting. I returned two of these units before I finally got a Sammy tech on the phone who knew what he was doing and told me it was a design flaw.
As far as audio or video cables go, NEVER buy new! They rarely decay with age, so why pay bust out retail for expensive Monster cables when you can buy used, often a third of the original price, at sites like audiogon.com or videogon.com? Just click on the classifieds.

Samsung HD841
This otherwise stellar unit is flawed because it won't hold the place where you paused the DVD (and the resolution setting) once it goes into sleep mode.
Now I discovered, greatly adding to my frustration, while listening to DVDA that the unit DOES resume where you left off, even in sleep mode!
Doesn't work on DVD's where you need it the most, but functions properly on DVDA's where you don't need it. Go figure!

Samsung 841
Well, how's this for a design glitch?
Press pause and the unit eventually goes into sleep mode and starts the movie from the begining when you hit pause/play again.
Yesterday I discoverd that if you power off the unit goes right into sleep mode but picks up where you left off when you hit play! It still doesn't keep the resolution setting, as it reverts back to 480p, but hey, I'll take it.
That was my biggest problem with the machine and I put a helluva lot of time and effort into solving it, even replacing two of the units. Amazing how little help Samsung was, as I talked to at least three different "techs" who all said different things. "That unit is defective." "It's a design flaw."
Yeesh! Way too much effort for a $200 machine.
