For 2005 you can buy a DTV receiver or integrated HDTV display that will receive scrambled HD cable. For cable HD the DTV tuner or display must have a slot for a cable card. You get the cable card from your provider and plug it into the cable card slot on the back of the receiver which will allow your DTV tuner to pick up scrambled cable just as if you had a cable set top box.
