Just finished listening to this classic and all I can say is WOW! This is a richly textured piece of work with exceptional musicans all around. Some of the layers of music, especially in the midrange, tended to get muddled on the original release. With this SACD, we get some nice seperation which enables you to pick out each player. Duane Allman's slide is a revelation. They must have boosted that signal becuase I never heard it so clearly before. This a perfect album to release on SACD. It also brought back wonderful memories. I saw Derek nad The Dominoes at the Filmore east in 1970...or was that 1971? We also got to see the J. Giels band and Humble Pie with Peter Frampton. Not bad for $4, eh?
