Unfortunately audio equipment does not have standards like video. Due to that one must play with and match up different components to achieve the sonic signature they are looking for which only adds personal taste to an already fuzzy equation. That is called synergy. This includes not only the equipment but the speaker wire, audio interconnects and AC power conditioning or synthesis.
