Associated commonly with CRT RPTV it is the light that is reflected off the inside screen in the cabinet and in turn reflected off the mirror and interior of the cabinet causing an image with bright areas to wash out the dark areas due to this light after making it's trip around the inside of the cabinet being returned to the screen.
