Samsung: HD841 DVD player/DVI

Anyone own the Samsung HD 841? I need to know if your unit picks up where it left off after you pause it long enough to go into sleep mode, which is indicated by the red light. Mine reverts back to the start of the disc and also reverts the setting back to 480p instead of the 720p that I set it to. This is my second unit that does this. Frequent talks with Samsung reps yielded mixed results. Three said that it should keep the settings where you left it, and one was adamant that it should not. If he's right, this would be an idiotic step backwards for a model that was supposed to correct the 931's shortcomings. I guess that's why they are coming out with yet another new one next month, the 941, which will have HDMI AND a DVI to HDMI adapter included. Maybe they'll get right the third time.
