Last week I posted a note praising the Centerpin Connector as the greatest thing since sliced bread-----and the originals were.
I just received some of the new ones now made by or for RCA and sold under the RCA name. They do not appear to be as well made as the originals which came direct from Centerpin. They may very well work fine but they are not made as well, they look less sturdy. It looks like a "knock-off".

Glad you are happy with them but a word of caution. I just did a few lengths with these new RCA Centerpin connectors and if you don't squeeze hard with the pliers to get into the foil or braid you will not have a connection. I did three lengths before checking them and I had to go back and really apply pressure. Of course, I was using an excellent brand of cable and it just took a lot to get thourgh the outer cover. The old ones had sharper edges and went through the cable easier.
