I have a Time Warner SA3250 HD cable box with IEEE and a JVC 30000 HD VCR. I have not been able to record to the VCR thru IEEE successfully. I can record HD channels with the JVC VCR set to Ch. 3. Before I explain my problem, and ask for your comment, please confirm that you are recording HD channels with the JVC VCR set to "I- " rather than to Ch. "3". If you are recording to Ch. 3, you are merely recording an analog version of the HD channel. If you are recording to "I-", you are recording a true HD signal. PS I also have a SA3250 HD cable box linked to a Mits HD VCR via IEEE, and it works fine.
