Please note that the Mits VCRs do not have an analog HD output and requires 1394 on your display for recording and playback. Not all displays are fully compatible with this 1394 system. They also do not support D-Theater prerecorded movies but will support any D-VHS HD content such as from HDnet.
This less expensive version drops S-VHS capability.
