Kill Bill, volume 1

Post by HDTV Forum »

If you can handle the gore, it's a GREAT movie: Strong plot - solid characters and acting - vibrant color - cool soundtrack - excellent transfer to DVD. For me, it's the best movie I've seen in years, and that includes the last two "Matrix" movies and the LOTR movies. But I warn you again, it is a shock flick - do NOT let the kids watch, or even listen.

It was fun, entertaining and not to be missed if you are of the chop saki kung fu variety. Lot's of toungue in cheek. I loved it!

but...

The blood was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over done to the point of being ridiculous.

I am told that was the point as homage to Japanese anime...

Apparently so. Quentin is a genius. A really whacked out lunatic but a genius nonetheless.

I've seen the entire movie twice and bits and parts about 4 times already.
