So now that we can buy a fairly accurate display we also need a way to record NTSC without incurring any loss because now it is obvious. The VHS VCR simply has too much noise. The S-VHS VCR, while a number of notches better, does not improve anything for color compared to standard VHS and this chroma noise is quite evident.
