HDMI versions

Does anyone know the scoop on HDMI vs 1.3, 1.2 etc. I have a DLP with HDMI EIA-861B and wondered whether you had to match up HDMI versions when buying new components to connect to your system or if all these versions are compatible with each other

They don't have to match but you will only get the features of which ever is the lowest version. The only concern with displays has been 1080p capability which is simple; either it works or you have to use 1080i or less.
I don't see you having a problem...
