I have been tweaking settings on my WD-73833 and could really use some help. Can someone give me some optimum settings to use in a dark room. The TV sits in our bedroom with a viewing distance of about 11 or 12 feet. I've read that out of the box this set needs some color adjustments and "tweaking" to get the best picture quality but could use some direction.
Thanks in advance for your help

There's no such thing as an "optimum setting" - it depends on your TV and viewing conditions. You should get a calibration DVD such as DVE (digital video essentials) which provides test patterns to help you set the user controls properly. Without it you're totally guessing.

Given I provided the two factors you said it depended on - TV WD-73833 and 11 to 12 feet viewing distance in a dark room - I thought someone here would have some pointers.
Regardless, thanks for the reply and I will look at getting a DVE.

A few things that are not a guess...
Set for natural
Low temp
deep field imager off
fine edge off
(nomenclature is from memory and may not be accurate)

No two TVs are identical although digital displays might be really close. Also - how dark is dark?
Still too many variables.
