As part of HDNet's all day "Memorial Day Rocks" was Sheyl Crow's 2003 "C'Mon America" concert. I recorded it on my Star Choice HD PVR.

Comments ... for the most part we got the usual high quality HD picture from HDNet (vibrant colors, sharp images) and great sound. However, for some reason the camera operators were occasionally losing focus for a split second so it was not up to their usual standard.

Also, and this may have been the fault of my provider (Star Choice) or my HD PVR, in the first half I experienced several brief sound dropouts accompanied by some picture breakup (pixelation). This may have been partly due to the fact I was watching the Blue Jay's baseball game live on another channel. During that time I frequently rewound the live signal.

We have the SD DVD so I don't think it was a HDNet production - I think they just converted the film to HD. The camera problems were in the original. Not a bad concert but IIRC the lighting wasn't great, either.

When Sheryl Crow (no 'E') was at the Fox here in Atlanta last Spring my wife and I had 2nd row middle seats. We were literally 12 feet away from her. Fantastic concert. And we sat in on the soundcheck (45 minutes of covers like "Black Betty", etc.) and got to meet her onstage. http://iloveallaccess.com - highly recommended (but not cheap)!
