Hi,
I am new enthusiast on the block. I saw the links which you have given and was quite surprised to see the optic fibre cable for hdmi and dvi because the signal runs in electronic mode and not in optical mode that is what i had understood from both the formats. Please throw some light on that if possible.

Hi avguy,
Looking at the info it appears the conversion to optics is built into the housings...
Do you need a long run?
