An old drunken baseball player who had his few moments in the majors takes on a rag-tag team of kids so he can make some dough as the team coach, aka, everything.

Like Bad Santa, Billy Bob Thornton as the coach is crusty and there is little endearing about his character as this movie steers more toward slice of life rather than the Hollywood approach.
