Gunslinger

This is the first time a title has not appeared at the IMBD...?
The story centers around a half breed Indian boy, his father and his grandfather the gunslinger who returns to town after being gone for 20 years. Following on his heals is another gunslinger looking for a duel to determine who is the fastest gun in the west.
While the story was chock full of potential this film is actually an Italian venture reminiscent of the old spaghetti westerns and it was flat out bad. I am very surprised that Harvey Keitel took on the part of the grandfather considering the production values presented; maybe he regrets taking the part. I rented it because David Bowie plays the other gunslinger and he does so quite well; was that really David Bowie? Italian accents appear throughout and the boys father ended up being dubbed... quite poorly.
Not recommended as entertainment. If you are a film buff though there may be something of value.
