Based on requests HD Library is providing this section for our members to post information about themselves or their A/V systems. In many forums posters are using signatures often times larger than the content and creates a look that does not flow well and detracts from search engine performance. The best solution is to provide our members with a signature link just like you see for our professionals here better known as a Virtual Business Card.

First step is to create your signature using any word processor you prefer. You are allowed one line of text above and below your link. The code required is already setup for you and all you have to do is insert the URL for your thread.

Tom Jones

Or... ( in this case change Tom Jones to your real name or user name)

Tom Jones

Next step is to create the post describing your system and/or telling the members about yourself. This becomes your unique thread. After doing so you can choose to either view your post or view the forum and if you wait it will automatically select view post. In either case please go to the forum view first and then click on your post. At the top of your browser, select and copy the URL

viewtopic.php?p=18475

Your URL should look like this but the numbers at the end will be different. Those numbers are your unique thread and will always be those numbers no matter where the thread is located in HD Library. Paste that into the signature and it should look similar to this:

Tom Jones
