Richard asked if I would post this question to the board so .....

I have a question I'm hoping someone with greater knowledge than I can answer. I own a 48" Mits (model #: CRT 48313) that has the 64-point convergence feature - should this be done on each input (i.e., DVI, component) or will performing it on one input suffice?

Also, when I use the DVE disc, should I simply copy the settings I calibrate from the component input I use the DVD player on and paste those
to the other inputs?

Your TV is two TV's, one is 480P and the other 1080I so you have two convergence routines. 480P is easy. Simply go to any blank input, turn off the video mute so the blue screen goes away and do the convergence. To do 1080I will require a 1080I source to force your TV into 1080I mode. If you are on cable in most cases you can turn off the HD STB and it will send out a black 1080I. If you have a DTV STB then tune to an unused channel and typically you will get a black picture.

Yes but that will be ball park only and it is likely you will need to tweak the controls.
