ISF - The Expression of Art using Imaging Science
For all these years we have been led to believe that the brightness, contrast, color, tint and other numerous settings were provided to create an image that we personally prefer. The myth is the manufacturer sets up those same controls to create an image you will perceive as desirable when in reality those are the worst settings creating a poor response. While this certainly helps in the sales of TV sets and displays did you know that there is a way to set these controls for the correct response?
Did you know that having these controls and other alignments calibrated is the only way you can fully benefit from the expression of art that video represents?
Did you know that hundreds upon thousands of hours and significant capital is spent to create these images to look a certain way and if you do not have the display calibrated properly then you will not have the experience that the artist intended for you?
