This 1989 recording was done by Bob Katz in the old RCA Studio A in New York. Phil provides us with some of that old time quintet jazz with top notch performers. I really enjoyed this album musically and sonically! It had a very open sound, wide image and depth with an open dynamic range just asking for the volume to be turned up.
