Other then surge protection, do these sometimes expensive units really make a difference is sound? Picture too, for that matter. They are hyping improved picture quality also, with some units having vid ins and outs. It's hard to figure out what's real and what's not these days. Just when you think you have your rig sounding pretty good along comes some tweak or another designed to seperate you from your money.

Most certainly are making it even more difficult to be aware of those that are real and worthy. Just wants to make you say "you can all go to hell"...
Well, HD Library is all about separating the facts from the snake oil games so at least you aren't wasting your time or money. Check this thread...
