This is a very popular indoor antenna but it may not work for VHF stations if you have any.

Hey guys,
I just picked up one of the little Zenith (Gemini-Industries) indoor HDTV antennas, ZHDTV1. This little guy looks really good on my Applied Instruments digital Signal Level Meter.
At least, when I was outside it did. Signal levels were around 0db to +10db and variance within a channel was under 2db.
However, when I took it inside, signals dropped about 10db but the variance went to pot with 8db to 15db variance.
Soon, I'll connect it to my receiver and see how the Pany 51 likes it.

It works.

I'm impressed with this little antenna. From inside my home in a lower level where the antenna was about 4 feet above the outside terrain, and connected to my Pana DST51, it received just fine. There were a couple of weaker stations that it couldn't pull in, but then I hadn't removed the 20db attenuator from the back of my 51. (Messin there gets me in trouble.) The transmitters are 38.7 miles away with very little obstruction (a couple trees).

This is the US version of the Silver Sensor and does work quite well. I use it for DTV reception surveys along with a Sencore SLM1453. I also heard they now have an amplified version available.
