I know what you saw but aren't talking about...
The best thing at the show was Canon's Ultra High Definition displays showing off 8 megapixel images. These images and displays were amazing from 10" away. Absolutely no saw-toothing or jagged edges anywhere. This made a decision i have been wrestling with crystal clear. Forget about 3-D tv. It looks fake like a Viewfinder with multiple depths all in focus. The UHDTV dispays showed so much detail (16 times the resolution of 1080P according to Canon) that they became 3-d simply by being so close to reality. I will now buy myself a nice 2-D set and sit back and wait for UHD to come of age.

Re: Canon UHD
Very interested in buying a 4K (4096x2304 preferred, 3840x2160 would work) display. Were the panels shown at the Canon event shipping units? Was there any guidance on pricing? How did the blacks look?
Thanks
