Hey guys. So I bought the 47" LG 47LD420 TV yesterday. Its huge, awesome etc.
One huge problem though.
Ive got it hooked up to my GPU via DVI->HDMI.
Windows recognized it no problem, set the res. to its native 1080p.
Trouble is its having problems with the ress for some reason. I can't explain the problem without showing you, so here are some pictures.
This is what a straight (holding down SHIFT) diagonal line looks like in paint:

Vertical and horizontal are fine:

All of this crap goes away with 1776 x 1000, but I bought a FULL HD 1080p TV so I can watch 1920x1080 so I hope you can understand why this is frustrating. I've messed with the TVs settings a LOT and cant seem to figure this out. :/
I used paint because thats what most dramatically displays what happens. Im no expert but I CAN notice it in everything else as well. Almost ALL text is choppy (in games, under icons etc.), looks horrifying. Movies etc. not so bad because things are usually in motion but I can still see it. NEED a solution.
Please assist.
Thanks in advance!
