While watching streaming video from Netflix from my pc via wireless n+ router to a Samsung Blu-ray player I am experiencing jitter (Sony hdtv 120hz refresh rate) when the scene has a slow camera pan.Viewing through my cable dvr is perfect. Is this a wireless issue or possibly a HDMI cable issue? would hardwiring router to Blu-ray help?

If the Blu-ray player is fine with a disc then so is the HDMI cable. If not let me know and my first question would be how long have you owned the display and player...

Your problem could lie in a variety of areas and the first step is the process of elimination.

My first suspect would be the original stream itself from Netflix and the compression they are using. This service is based on the convenience of instant access providing a level of quality most find acceptable. The DVD will look and sound better. The more I review this the more it points to that because the router is simply passing the data along (it's not a wireless video distribution device) and if it were glitching then the stream would simply stop and your picture would pause.

Do you get jitter on your PC? If yes then compression is the likely culprit. If not the only other thing I can think of is the Blu-ray player decoding and processing the video stream but that seems unlikely.

Your is the first report of a quality problem.
