Opinions on the best streaming media software?

Hi,
I'm the proud new owner of a Samsung LN 55B650 LCD TV. I'm trying to maximize it as many ways as I can (particularly with football season & the colder prime TV viewing months coming up).
I've been doing a lot of research on Twonky Media, Tversity, and MediaMall PlayOn. I want to incorporate one of these (or maybe even 2) so that I can digitally connect my home (also have a Denon AVR-4308, and a PS2). I'm a newbie and just now learning about this stuff.
Anyone out there have an opinion on the best of those 3 for streaming media (particularly video). I also heard something about Twonky Beam, which is a new free product? I don't mind paying $30 a month for services like PlayOn, but naturally....cheaper the better as long as the quality is good!
