I would be more than happy to let you know as soon as I get something. I take it you also went to their website and filed
an online complaint?? I did and left them my e-mail address. Here is part of their response;
*****We sincerely regret that you have experienced difficulties with your LG Product.
There are some of our units depending on the model that are presenting lip-sync issues when using a cable box connected by HDMI. It is not that the television has a problem; it is because some cable boxes are recycled and hardware
UPDATE -- HDTV LG 47LH-90 Lip Sync / Audio Delay Problems

To whom it may concern,
I e-mailed the LG customer support person who I have been dealing with asking for a status of a link to download the firmware. I was given a runaround response and as such asked the person to get their supervisor. The supervisor responded stating there is no link to a firmware available and that a technician with a "technicians remote" will have to come to my home and install the firmware and make some changes that customers are not authorized to do using this technicians remote. The supervisor informed me that I should be contacted within 2 weeks by someone who would schedule a time to show up and do this to my 47 inch LH-90 TV.
Therefore, anyone with an LG HDTV and lip sync problems, should contact the LG customer support and advise them of the information I previously posted (TV Type, cable box type, etc) and let them know you have lip sync problems. Per the supervisor I dealt with, they contact you on a first come first serve basis.
I will continue to provide updates here.

UPDATE2 -- HDTV LG 47LH-90 Lip Sync / Audio Delay Problems

Hi all,
Sorry I am so late with responding. Last week the LG Customer support e-mailed me with the name and number of a local company that provides LG service support. I contacted the company and arranged a date/time for them to come and update my TV. They came and had a special LG technician remote control. They upgraded the firmware (which was something even I could have done with a USB drive). However, using the technician remote, they had to get to a specific technician's menu so they could modify the EDID function for each of the HDMI ports and the RGB port. After doing this, the lip sync problem was fixed.
So yes, the LG LH90 series TVs (w/LED BACK LIGHTS) do have a lip sync problem that can be fixed by an authorized LG service center. The tech who did mine said he had to do another one tomorrow so apparently they are making the rounds. Contact LG support and advise them of your problem and they will arrange for a service center to contact you. Per LG support, they are doing this on a first come first serve basis and it took nearly 1 month for me to get my fix after I first contacted LG (see previous post with info to provide to LG).
I think this TV is GREAT as far as picture quality and sound goes. I sure am glad LG provides the support also. I was not charged a penny and it took about 15 minutes.
