Blu-ray Review: Skyline

The directors of this film (the Strause brothers) are well known for making special effects in movies like Avatar, Iron Man, and 2012. The writers of this movie are also well know for special effects. That alone should tell you all you need to know. This movie is not directed well, does not have a good script, but it has great special effects. The "Brothers Strause" made this movie without any major studio help for under $20 million dollars, and more than 80% of that money went to special effects.

Rarely have I been more disappointed in a movie in my life (Nightfall comes to mind). Having said that I cannot agree more with

"Their is no chemistry between the characters, and honestly I didn't like most of them and was kind of happy when some of them died."

I actually rooted for some of them to die off. The "ending" was, at best, crap. Yes, crap! With a plot this thin it just needed to end. We lost, enough said.

My wife, who has never seen a movie that she couldn't find something she like in it summed it up this way, "It sucked!"

Lastly, I don't comment on reviews of movies. That is how bad this thing is. Someone please erase the hard drives.
