Met HD Broadcasts
FWIW,
I've seen the Met live at the Met about 3-4 years ago from some of the best seats in the house. I've also seen the Met in HD at a local theater. I heard and saw better in the theater than at the Met. Of course the experiences are not the same (seeing Renee Fleming live at the Met is incomparable), but the HD broadcasts are superb in their own way. Highly recommended!
