AOC Revitalizes Its TV Brand Line with a Jolt of Innovation

AOC is known for producing stunning displays that offer quality performance, clean aesthetic lines and user-friendly interfaces at competitive prices. Most, however, may not realize that AOC (Admiral Overseas Company) has been a fixture in the American television manufacturing market for more than 60 years, formerly under the brand name Admiral. From the 1940s to the 1960s, Admiral Televisions dominated the market thanks to their innovative design, consumer-oriented features, and affordability. It is these characteristics that have made the AOC brand popular in Asia, South America and Europe.

I hate to say this, but I never heard of them when it comes to brand names so they have their work cut out for them as I doubt I'm the only one.

Admiral....you know the company we knew for 60 years.....yeah right. I bet there are lots of legacy Admiral employees. And I'll change my name to Franklin D Roosevelt and get the admiration of the entire Republican party. LOL. Okay, maybe a few Democrats.

I'll give them a chance as I have been happy with the occasional off brand TV: Sylvania and Westinghouse etc., but I would expect nothing but repackaged generic Asian hardware. Read the spec's in the note, other than the cool integration of a DVR, nothing is special or new.
