This 720P projector is the budget videophile version of the SP-H800BE, 12K, money is not an issue videophile big gun. It is highly rated by all accounts and at $4k unbeatable in imaging science performance and ease of calibration.
At the special price of $2800 starting bid and $2900 buy it now it is a rare videophile bargain!
The seller is a huge internet retailer in California and Samsung dealer so you will get your full 2 year manufaturers warranty.
At the time of this post 4 are left. I bought mine today!

I was starting to get unnerved because the retailer kept telling me he was going to ship it and I never received the typical email saying so. Just hung up with them and it was shipped yesterday as I was originally told.
Whew...
BTW, I understand AVS has a Power Buy on this projector for $3500.
It did NOT ship 2 day air as advertised, went ground, so instead of yesterday it will be the 10th.
I spoke with Gerald at Socal about their ad at ebay stating 2 day air and he said he would get that changed. I also told him how ebay sellers have always sent me an email stating the product had shipped with a tracking number.
As bad as this might sound I am not worried, just disappointed! Having posted this promotional thread I also wanted to make sure any of you were aware of these potential problems.
With a savings of $1200 I can afford to wait until the 10th...
I Googled this Samsung projector to read the specs and the first site on the list was "projectorcentral.com" ... they showed a MSRP for this unit of U.S. $12,000.
I don't know how current this price was but, no matter, it sure looks like you've bought yourself an excellent projector at a Wal-Mart bargain price.
Maybe you'd better put on asbestos gloves before you touch it ... just kidding of course, but I'll bet the're still charging that kind of money in the Great White North.
Oops, my mistake ... I looked up the SP-H800BE by mistake.
They show a MSLP for your unit of $4,000 which still makes it an excellent buy.
Sorry, sometimes I get carried away with all these different product code numbers ... you did say that you ordered the" budget videophile version" but I didn't originally pick up on the different product code numbers.
This is the most CRT like digital front projector I have seen! I cannot tell you how odd it is to go into the customer menu and find presets and options that use imaging science terms and actually respond correctly.
Lovin' it and looking forward to the 1080P version!
Richard, I tried to PM you this message but it didn't seem to go through. and when I clicked on "sent folder" there was nothing there. Anyways, you can delete this post after you receive and read it.
The new Toshiba HD-DVD player would look awesome through that new projector of yours...
I felt compelled to post the following due to the fact that I promoted this company for this product due to the great price. While the product was repaired due to great luck and fortune and I am overall satisfied with the end result the company never the less failed in a number of areas so I stated the facts of my experience and tagged it as a negative rating. This morning Gerald called to discuss my feedback and here is the resulting email as sent to Gerald and his supervisors.
